Yorkie Yakker | Chew Bones So I wanted to get Chewie something to keep him occupied while I'm at work so I got two different types of chew bones. Now before you go yelling at me that I shouldn't give him bones while, I'm away - rest assured, I do not. I only give them to him when he's out and about with me. When he's in his pen, he doesn't get them. Anyway, I bought two different types. Blue Bones Mini (Blue buffalo and EXPENSIVE) AND a much cheaper bag of Pedigree "Jumbones" mini. Wouldn't you know it, he HATES the blue buffalo and LOVES the Pedigree ones. What chew bones does your dog love? I know all dogs are different but I'd like to try another brand and there are sooooo many to choose from!

| Great question! I was wondering the same thing. I have seen people give the names of different treats but it would really help me to have them all in one place. Thanks for asking. Right now, the only "treat" Sophie gets is regular cheerios. LOL

| Pooky is 13 weeks and he tries to bite my finger, so today my husband bought the dogs some raw beef bones. I think it's the joints. They're round about 3 inches across. The older dogs cleaned out the middle and I brought one of them into the house for Pooky to chew on and he LOVES it! No worry of splinting or choking because they are raw...like in nature. Much better for them and if you give your baby one with all the goodie inside when you leave, oh boy, he won't even know you've gone and look forward to the following day! |

| Bully sticks are Callie favorite and she also likes get naked treats they are like dentabones but much better ingredients. Never give any kind of bone when you are not around to watch they could choke.

| I have these for Sam Nylabone Healthy Edible Puppy Lamb and Apple... They also come in turkey and sweet potato flavor. I'll try those when he's ready for a new batch.

| I see a couple of you are saying bully sticks. Is it ok to leave them unattended with bully sticks? Bentley will be transitioning from "doggie daycare" with my mom to staying at home soon. He loves his buffalo stix but didn't think he could be alone with it. But if he could keep it in his pen during the day that would be a great boredom buster for him. My current thought is BB puppy biscuit in a Kong.

| I give Georgia Bully pizzles but not to bed in her crate at night. They are on the floor or in her basket during the day.She loves her bully sticks and she doesn't chew on any household items.I credit that to giving her lots of chew toys and pizzle stix at a young age.Bully stix keep the dogs teeth incredibly clean of tarter. You got to watch chew things that will leave starch on the teeth. | Lilly's bone is almost as big as she is. LOL She loves it but it is getting ratty. I'm hoping to find something similar to it but maybe not a bone per say. It's actually rawhide I think. I didn't even realize they weren't good for them and she's just now starting to chew it down to where it's "gummy" for lack of a better word. I'm taking her to get microchipped this weekend at a pet store for $10 and going to pick up something then. What should I look for? Bully sticks were kind of expensive at Petsmart when I looked last night. |
