| Short trip without Milo I am thinking about going on a trip with a few friends and was wondering if Milo will be ok without me. I have never left him more than one night. This is a short 3 night trip. I really hate to leave him because I fell bad but he will be at home with the rest of the family. He is like my shadow. I just think he will be sad until I get back.

Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | I had to come back and say I hope my previous post didn't come off as some weirdo. Lol. We are very normal, down to earth people. I just know how close you are to me and it's my nature to offer to help. Of course if you are interested I would be happy to meet you guys and let you come to our home. We are right near downtown. I have Katie Scarlett and my mom has a Maltese, Mollie. They are both up to date on all shots, flea & heart worm medication. I am a stay at home wife so I guess you can say my world revolves around my babies.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | That was really kind of you guys to offer to watch her dog!! I wish I lived near more YT members like you guys!! I would feel so much more comfortable leaving my boys with another Yorkie lover when I go on trips. |

| Just out of curiosity... if you take your dog on a road trip, where do you take them for the bathroom? I hear rest stops are not the place to let your dog out to potty. They can pick up all kinds of stuff. Especially, parvo.

| Isn't that the reason we get them vaccinated?

| Thanks so much southernbelle04. I was reading this to my husband and he said what about me. I will be here. Milo does like him but he likes me better. Lol. I think deep down he would miss him if I let someone else keep him. They all love him. I just worry that he will miss me. If we both go somewhere and can't take him. I will sure keep you in mind. We do come to Russellville quiet often and I would love to meet you and your babies. Milo needs to have some friends his size. He has a brother that is a GR and a sister that we took in that came here a few years ago.

YT 2000 Club Member | As long as someone is home to love on Milo he will be fine. I would worry if you took him and left him in a motel room. Dogs get stolen. You need a trip and Milo will be in good care so go and have a good time! HOme is the best place for him and the safest. |

| I love people in Alabama!!! I'm near Birmingham and would babysit too! He will probably do just fine with the dh. My dh does a wonderful job when I go away. Milo would prob be most happy at home although. Btw, Aymee and Teri are both Angels not weirdos With the rest areas -- I won't let a puppy who hasn't finished puppy vaccines but as long as the older dog was up to date on shots, flea/tick, & heartworm meds.... It isn't anymore dangerous then walking around your neighborhood.
