| Shadowing... Toffee follows me everywhere. Do they grow out of it ? Is it just a puppy thing ? Also are yorkies one person kinda dogs ? He is not very interested in my husband, which is sad. He is just Momma's boy lol ! |

| That's pretty typical, and not just a puppy thing. They just want to be with you. All the time. A lot of yorkies can be one-person dogs. They bond very hard with their owners. My Lexie is all about me & couldn't care less about my husband or anyone else. She tolerates other people & dogs, but mommy is the center of her universe!

| I have three that are far from puppies but follow me everywhere. I can't leave the room without the trail of them behind me. |

YT 2000 Club Member | Maggie Mae follows me so close that I can always tell it is her because I can feel her little wet nose against the the back of my legs as I walk. Lol. I don't know why she follows this close, she is the only one of ours that does this. We got her when she was six months old and the other two when they were only eight weeks old. It is almost as if she is saying, "you are not leaving me behind, I am going too". Lol. Maggie has totally glued herself to us.

| Ahi has to be in the same room as me. Roxie is always right next to me. I can't even go to the bathroom without her following me. I don't know if it's because she has been left behind by her previous owner but she makes sure I'm not out of her sight. Everyone can be home but as soon as I get up to move...they will follow.

| Yorkies are famous for being their owners' little shadows! Strudel follows me everywhere, the shower, the kitchen, anywhere I go he goes lol. I don't even have to put a leash on him when I take him for potty because he is not leaving a 1foot radius He does love his daddy but the strong bond with his original owner(me) is definitely pronounced. Like if daddy wants to take Strudel out (I rarely take him when it's cold out unless daddy is at his house) sometimes I have to "pretend" that I am going to or else he won't go.

| Guinness follows me everywhere and if my hubby tries to wake me up in the morning Guinness will gently bite him because he sleeps on top of me... Stella I do not even think that puppy knows I exist other than I am the evil lady that holds her and puts bows in her fur... That is daddy's little shadow.

| My Brandi is almost 13 (I've had for the last 6 yrs) and she has been following me around everyday since I've had her. In fact when she's not following me, that usually means she's getting into something she shouldn't be doing.y It's not a puppy thing....he will probably be following you for the rest of her life |
