Donating YT 7000 Club Member | What should I tell her?? My neighbor is so in love with Tucker she wants a yorkie too. Of course she's willing to do her research and make sure she gets the right one. My dad suggested that she talk to me. I don't think she has a computer, so she can't join, but I'll tell her about YT just incase. I know she has 2 grandkids who are over a lot, so I'll tell her it'd be best to get one on the larger side. my dad has already told her not to buy from pet stores. What else should I tell her? Thanks!

Donating YT 7000 Club Member | OK, here's one more thing. Her son is currently in jail for robbing 2 gas stations (he is very messed up, but it is no reflection on her parenting!) He's probably going to be in jail for a long time, but this dog will probably live for a long time also. Now he HAD pitt bull who came after Rusty once and slit his throat, then the guy blamed me but all that is a whole nother story. This dog has been euthinized, and I would imagine he isn't allowed to own any more animals (he abused him) I'm worried that when this guy finally does get out of jail he'll turn around and get another dog. His mother is no longer close to him, I don't think she'll ever let him come over again. He'll probably be in jail for about 10-15 years. Do you think the chances of him getting another dog and it hurting the yorkie are actually possible? Or am I just being paranoied? I know this lady, she is very nice. She loves animals, and I'm sure she'd do anything to protect her baby.

| Wow! I'd say help her as best you can with the pup - I'm sure you'll say all the right things (you always do!). Don't worry about the son - not to be rude to the neighbor, but that's her problem. Just do your best to answer all her questions about the pup! Good luck!

| Oh, my!!! The chance of him harming another dog are great if he gets time off for good behavior and gets out early. Seriously, between the grandkids and the possibility of the son getting out of jail, I would really worry about a dog in the home. BUT, we cannot control others choices so help her by giving her all of the info you have and she will be responsible for making the final choice...Good Luck... |
