| Mess free Kong ideas Hi everyone, since I got Wallee last summer when it was very hot, I gave him lots of ice cubes. He really got hooked on them which helped a lot with his teething I am sure as well as cooled him down during the worst heat days. Well it is winter now and so having him with ice cubes to melt all over the floor is a no.. Since I also don't like cleaning sticky messy stuff off the floor I decided to figure out a way to freeze water in his kong..I put saran wrap over the large end and then put an elastic around it to hold it tight. I then fill with water and stand it up in a shot glass in the freezer while it freezes...HE LOVES IT!!! This is my life saver when we are trying to eat or want some "quiet time". hehehe..when he really gets going at it, you can hear him almost sucking on the end of it trying to get the ice out.. |
