| Hello Again:) Hello, I have been away for quite some time. I check in every now and then, but havent posted in a while. I have Farley He is our only yorkie. He is going to turn 6 in March. How time flies. I still remember getting him like it was yesterday. Since i have been on here, i have been very busy. We have a new hairless kitten, a sphynx - named harold. He likes to pick on farley, And Farley loves to play with the kitten. ITs the only thing his size. However harold is soon going to pass him up i beleive, lol And still have the same 4 dogs. I recently - 4 months ago quit my long time job as a veterinary technician/ groomer at the same clinic where i worked for the past 14 years. I now have my own grooming business out of my home. Its great. My dogs-especially Farley love me working from home. I am so happy to work from home. Anyway just wanted to say hi and reintroduce myself before i start posting again. I am sure there is alot of new people here. |

| Nice to meet you. I am jealous, too. I wish I could work from home and not leave my babies. I miss them so much during the day. Ummm, what "drew" you to a hairless cat? I've always wondered that when people get one. Sorry to be blunt, but I'm super curious because I love to pet on my pets and ...well, your petting skin. Is that weird?

| I have always loved needy pets... If that makes sense. Hairless pets require very regular grooming. However the feeling is very human like. He is the most loving pet. There is something very baby like about a hairless cat, even more so than a dog. Because of the way they hold on to you . He will grab my face , loves to touch my face. He will climb up my leg to be held. I have always loved very short sleek hair, i love huge ears. Yorkies are the only fuzzy breed of dog i love. I am allergic to normal cats and have never ever loved or even wanted a cat, until i learned abt hairless cats. Now i cant imagine not having a hairless cat. Its funny, people either LOVE them. Or HATE them |

ETA: And, I never even thought about someone with allergies. I suppose that would be a perfect cat then.

When people drop off/pick up their dogs for grooming, they are always shocked. Most people have not seen one in real life. They are often a bit taken back, and then when they pet him, they love the way he feels. And yes, the only cat i will ever be able to have since im so allergic to normal cats. | |
