I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Eggs have some of the best quality protein there is. I'm not in favor of raw eggs anymore, why take the chance? Besides the high quality protein here's some othe facts: Quote:

| Honestly I've used raw egg in my hair. Made it soft, silky and moisturized. I had a cocker spaniel that had skin allergies, raw egg helped his skin. My dad gave our Beauvier raw egg. It's a protein source and can be beneficial for healthy skin and coat. I myself probably wouldn't give an egg to my yorkie because he doesn't even like eggs. I know it sounds weird and gross.

| Ive heard of putting raw egg in the hair to help the hair and I would do that the drug stores even sell mayo treatments for hair but I wouldnt consume it or give it to my dogs to eat for that benefit but hey what do I know raw feeders have been doing it for yrs and claim good results its just not for me.

| I think there are so many other food sources that are safer. Food borne illness is not fun!

| If you have to shampoo through it a bunch of times it seems it would defeat the purpose. I dont like my hair to feel oily or sticky so I wouldnt like that. I do a morrocan deep conditioning treatment on my hair once a month and you have to really really rinse your hair or its left with an oily feel to it

| I was wrong the one Im using now is called brazillian keratin thearapy. I used to use one that had the argon oil in it. The brazillian keratin thearapy treatment is $15 and it lasts for a month. I like it because my hair is dry and has splint ends and it makes the appearance of my hair better and not sol split end looking. I also like it because they also sell conditioners that you can use all the time. I found it on the bottom of a shelf at my Kroger grocery store but Ive seen it at drug stores too it really works and I would use it on chachi and Jewels too if it werent a little pricy
