| I swear I have the bossy-est dogs in the world! Adie insists on playing fetch three times a day and if we miss the time by even a minute she gets pi$$ed. Gracie seems to think that she is the one to go out through doors first. But Skeeter takes the cake. When he wants to go outside he doesn't scratch on a door. He sits down in front of me and lets out a loud sharp bark that makes me jump every time. The same thing happens When HE DECIDES its bed time but this time with Foxy (his sleeping toy) in his mouth.. And If I don't drop what I'm doing and go to bed he keeps barking at me. so I get up and go to the bathroom on my way to bed. Without fail I hear his pitter patter little feet coming to check on me as if to say "hurry up." He just trots in and turns around and trots back out with foxy still clutched in his mouth. I swear - without fail EVERY time. Every night after supper he starts in on dh hoping to get a bite of his after dinner snack. The dog recognizes the frozen pizza boxes for crying out loud. (No more snacks for him - he is on a diet.) I could go on and on but you get the picture. |

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | LOL, and I thought that bossy behavior was my little secret! Eddie recently decided I need to be present before he drinks out of his water bowl, so he barks, barks, barks until I watch him.

| These wee little souls are the bossiest little dogs aren't they Bogie is relentless, he knows after he eats supper he gets his ball. He plays nonstop for 3 hours..and woe to the soul that forgets to give it to him!! He whines, cries and barks non-stop, then he hides it in different places and cries until you find it. Jada, all she does is sit in front of the freezer for green beans..and I mean she plants herself there every 5 minutes!! She doesn't bark, just looks at you with those pitiful, sad brown eyes until you relent.

| Gracie strained her back recently and was on pain pills twice a day. 6am rolls around and she's got her little nose in my face letting me know its time for her pill. I didn't know if it was the pill or the cheese it came in that she wanted but she definitely wanted it "NOW". Skeeter gets green beans first think in the morning and he too stands in front of the fridge waiting for me to notice he's there. |

| Let's see.....I only get barked at if I'm late at meal time or late for walk time or when I am being used as a playmate to shake the toy so she can attack and bite at it....or when I don't throw the ball quite as fast as she would like. Of course all this is fun for both of us. If I want her to stop I can tell her "no more" and that is the end of it. I don't know what I would do if she stopped being a bossy, tenacious little cuddle bug. |
