Need help My 2 year little girl cry ever time we pat or rub the side of her mouth, she keeps shaking her head. The groomer said it looks like the inside of her top jaw is growing inwards. Can someone please give me some advise. |
You need to take her to the vet as soon as you can get an appointment she is obviously hurting. |
I agree with Taylor please take your Yorkie to a Vet or to a Veteinary Dentist. |
I took her to the vet and every time the vet touched her she would say to Jordyn you're ok you are just being a drama queen while the hold time Jordyn is crying and yelping. Then she said its her ears. But another Dr. In the office I took her to a few months before cause this been going on for a while and my baby is still is in pain, put her on Prednisone and Doxycycline. She is still in pain. |
If your vet is calling your dog a drama queen you need to switch vets in my opinion. It seems like a dental issue and maybe it would be best to go to a vet dentist. |
Thank you both for your quick response |
I will find a vet dentist, it's been a long weekend for the both of us. I love this site I got a lot of good advise. |
Good thing you are not me... I would have went OFF if they called my pup a drama queen!! I have had to deal with Dr's telling me my pain was fake in my past so I really could not handle somebody saying it about my fur child!!! Sounds like another vet needs to get your money!! |

I would surely look for some better vets! Any vet that can't sympathize with a dog in pain does not deserve my money or yours. I hope you find someone good real soon. Do you have a veterinary college in your state or a near by state? They usually are good at finding out what the problem is. |

And not just because I'm an Auburn fan lol. I actually had to take a dog to Auburn vet school back in the 90s. She had a hole in her heart. They amazed me at how much they knew, their equipment, and their love and understanding. OP - I'm glad you are going to find another vet. A vet that calls a dog a drama queen because they can't figure out the problem is a vet that doesn't need your baby as a patient. |

Wow I can not believe the vet said that. I would get another vet and I would tell them why I am changing vets too. |
