| Some people should NOT own dogs!!!!! First let me say I MIGHT have had a tad too many margaritas tonight BUT still that is no excuse for other morons actions!!! As soon as we pulled onto our road (NO I was not driving ) there is what appears to be a beautiful Morkie that I have never seen in our area and me and Guinness walk every night... But this puppy is just chilling in the middle of the road at 11:15 PM in the dark.. Of course I jump out the truck before DH even stops and call the puppy over yell out HELLO three times and nobody answers, the dog has a collar with a cute little angel tag but no name no owner info no NOTHING so I pick it up and start to get in the truck because this baby is coming home with me where he is safe!!! Next I know a man comes out the door of the house we are in front of yelling I am stealing his dog... Of course my answer was NO MORON I am saving your dogs life because you are a worthless pile of crap that let's your dog wander the streets alone in the dark BUT because I see a little girl behind you watching I will give her the puppy back for her sake and pray to god you do a better job at raising your children so they do not turn out as worthless as you!! Grrrrrrrr I hate stupid people... Sorry for my Patron induced rant

| Oh my gosh, how awful. I bet he didn't even know that the dog was even out there... I'd keep my eyes open on that house and see if it happens again. Good for you for laying into him

| Oh trust me... Next time if it happens he is NOT getting the dog back!! And I pass that house no less than twice a day... From the main VERY busy road there is one house then our street and then he is the third house on our road so it's not that far from a death trap road for that poor little guy!!! Yea he was very well taken care of and groomed but cold day in hell my dog is out alone in the street at ANY time of day!!!

Donating YT 500 Club Member | That is extremely irritating ... imagine the horror that young child would experience if she were to find her dog run over by a car in the streets ... or the heart break she would experience if her dog were to go missing .... Not to mention the horrendous pain the dog would go through! I really wish that adults that make the conscious decision to adopt a dog (EVEN IF THAT DOG IS FOR THEIR CHILD) would have more common sense! Not to mention enough responsibility to properly take care of the dog and watch out for its well being. Way to go to you for getting the puppy out of the street & thinking of the child first as well! >.< You're definitely right, though .. some people just SHOULD NOT own pets. |

| I agree. There are some people who should not own dogs. Imagine letting a tiny puppy outside at night by it's self! |

| I definitely agree. I just hope they don't make that mistake again for the sake of the puppy. And what if he had been hit by a car and the little girl went looking for him and found him dead! Why do people think they can just put a dog outside and expect it to stay near or do they really just not care? I am guessing he must have been watching from the window or something if he was able to see you with the puppy and accuse you of stealing it so why would he let the little pup just lay in the rd.

| Kudos to you for doing what you did. It was the right thing to do. That little dog would never stand a chance if you hadn't stopped. |

| This is the reason I called animal control on a neighbhor who lives a few blocks from me. Basically the family has two pugs that appear to be left outside 24 hours a day. I'm not sure why they have pets when most of the time they are outside. They had one pug, and this idiot family got another puppy pug I guess to keep the older one company. I couldnt take it anymore and called animal control. This wasn't a knee jerk reaction. I have been seeing these dogs outside since the summertime but after seeing them outside in this weather and seeing them outside at night, I was left with no choice but to call. I have not problem with being wrong and I hoped that I am but I at least needed to make sure those pups are being taken care of. Hopefully animal control will do something. |

| I would have done the same thing and called.. My stepmom and one of the boss's at my work would not have called.. They would have been the crazy ladies that dressed in black cased the house to watch if the pups got to go inside and if not would have taken them So I guess at least I am not that bad just yet lol
