| I'd say if you see anything that doesn't seem right, run. Go elsewhere. Many things you described don't seem right to me and the number one for me would be breeding a small female. You should feel absolutely right about your breeder and the contract before purchasing a dog so run until you do find an excellent situation or get a rescue.

The piebald gene is recessive which means that you need two dogs with a copy each to produce the trait. Mr. Biewer bred two of his show Yorkies, not knowing that they both carried the gene, and when the puppies were born with the Biewer colouring of white, blue and gold, he decided to develop them into a breed in their own standing. True Biewers can be traced back to Fru Fru and Darling von Friedheck. I would run as fast as I could from this breeder. I don't believe in buying from anyone who keeps things hidden behind closed doors. You don't know what the condition of that place is. And considering that she has to bathe the puppies before getting visitors, it might actually be quite dirty down there. There are many more red flags, but one is enough. Find a breeder who prides herself on her bloodline, and breeds for the future of the breed. One with a thorough understanding of the breed. Please support the good breeders; demand shapes the market...
