| I have checked YT, but could not find any pups which would fit in my budget. I am looking at a $1000 range and cannot go beyond this. Also, I would need to ensure that I get enough supplies (food, toys, treats ... the list goes on !! ) for the pup. Hopefully, I would have some information regarding the pups by tomorrow and would share the same. I can travel for "the" yorkie, but again, I could not find any nearby..

| It is so hard looking for the right pup. I feel for you. Looking forward for the info and hope it leads to the pup you are looking for. Are you interested in both ads or just the Yorkie one? |

| Finally some good news ..!! I called up Carolyn (of Welcome) since her website listed that she has an adult for adoption. However, he was already adopted. But she gave me reference to below Biewer breeder, Donda Biewers | Enumclaw, WA 98022 Carolyn said that she had a litter of biewers 2 weeks back and may be I will be able to get one male pup. And she also said that both sire and dam are from her. I just called her up but she said that all her pups are already booked. However, she may have a male. One lady has spoken her about the male pup, but she has not confirmed. If possible, I would go there and confirm. She asked $200 deposit and I can drive there over the weekend and pay her. This would not be an issue. I have sent her my details, and I am waiting for the pics. Praying to god that the lady does not confirm on this and I get this lil' baby..

| Praying that you can get the pup you want and sorry the search is so hard. However please be sure you check everything out before falling for the pup and do not feel rushed into a decision. Good luck! |

| Biewers I looked at the web site and it does look good and the breeders seem to be experts. I did not see about health guarantee, but I am sure if they are as good as they look they will have that. You must be excited. Good luck. |

I should still get a confirmation from her. I will call her up tomorrow and say that I am ready and be willing to travel to her place and pay the deposit. If everything goes fine, I will visit pups again when they are 8 weeks of age.

| I hope things work out for you, and I also hope you find your pup. I don't know anything about this breeder, but I think Carolyn Arnold has beautiful pups. I remember seeing photos of Lizzy when she was a pup. IMO, Tilly is too small to be safely bred, but it looks like this breeder has many years of experience breeding. I don't have a Biewer, but I love what I've read about them when they are properly bred.

| Pup Again, praying that you get the pup! They are lovely dogs. Wonderful that she covers congenital defects. Bet you can't wait to get to see them. Let us know when the baby is yours. |

| I have a biewer...and my nightmare with the groomer the other day asked me about breeding my pup, but to a AKC yorkie. I dont know why, if it was the offer of studding out my dog, or the fact that she wanted to mix him with something else...but it really made me mad. If she was really into her dogs, I dont think she would mix them. There is pride in owning a biewer, and mixing them with something else just seems like creating another "designer" breed.

| Happy's new pup I think the poster is getting a pure Biewer from what looks like a good breeder. Different from the original ones she mentioned. |

| Personally, I dont really differentiate between a Biewer or a Yorkie. I already have a Yorkie and now, I am looking for an addition. One is just not enough I am into this "hunt" since past 2 months and now, it just got a bit frustrating. So, luckily I might get one Biewer from dondaybiewers.com. But its yet to be confirmed. I will keep you posted. Thanks a lot for your input guys, YOU REALLY ROCK

| Donda Biewers is a good example of a responsible and even expert breeder. Contacting someone like that would be a big help to you in your search. A good breeder often has a waiting list for their pups and they are well worth the wait. If they don't have puppies available they may be able to point you in the right direction in finding someone they know that has pups. I would not hesitate to get on a good breeders waiting list. I would much rather wait a few months than spend years of time, money and suffering with a genetically defective puppy. Sure you would still love the pup but you don't want to see your dog suffer with a genetic defect. Buying a Yorkie these days is like walking a mine field. There are so many people out there breeding that have no idea about what it takes to breed healthy happy purebreds. You do not want a health guarantee that means you have to return your much loved pup if there is something found to be wrong with it. |
