Yorkie Talker | Grooming I might try grooming the pups to save money, can I use regular clippers for human hair on the pups? Thanks! |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | I use regular human clippers to trim my dogs hair. I've never had an issue with hurting the dog in any way. The only difference I have noticed is that the motor is louder. If your dog isn't scared by the louder sound it should be perfectly fine! I groom my own dogs myself ^-^ |

| I groom Troy myself. It's a savings of about 60-80 every 6 weeks. I use a very economical clipper set from Walmart that I purchased for about $30. I don't see why human clippers would be a problem, so if it's in your closet go for it.
