| How often do you bath your yorkie? Ive started bathing bella once a week. I'm trying to grow her hair and keep it soft and silky i use shampoo and glossy conditioner, i leave the ondidioner on 2 mins and try and comb the knots out while its on in the shower. i then blow dry her just all over and then brush her afterwards. i try to cut underneath so she dosent get any knots underneath i just dont wanna bath her too often, scared it irritates her but shes my first yorkie and i just wanna make sure im doing things good thank you for any help

| What shampoo are you using? I think any shampoo made for dogs and/or yorkies in particular are made to be gentle enough to bathe them once a week. Mandie plays outside a lot (many times a day..chasing her brother and such) so she needs to be bathed weekly. She has a Saturday routine of getting bathed, clipped anywhere if needed, blow dried, etc.

| ZoE gets a bath once a week too! Sometimes, we've pushed it to two weeks if she's not been out much & is still pretty clean, but never longer than that.

she hates the bath and getting brushed too, i just wanna keep it knot free but grow it long, i dont think bella suits it short haha but i am willing to put the time and effort in keep it long and silky...im thinking of taking her to the groomers to get it shaved underneath and let the top grow over so you cant tell x

| Once a week here, too! Harry's very outdoorsy also....and if he gets in a real mess inbetween, then he has an extra dip.... I think as long as you rinse and rinse it doesn't really matter - better a nice clean pup snuggled up in bed with you than a stinky little mess.... Sally + Harry x |

YT 2000 Club Member | Teeka gets a bath once a week. I use a oatmeal shampoo and condioner as she has some itching and flaking. It seems to help with the itching! Max gets a bath every couple of weeks as his hair is very short and doesn't matte or get as dirty! I hope this helps

| Once a week here. Mikki could actually go longer but not Rosie. Have you tried Yorkie Splash and Shine? It's gentle for our little Yorkies. Plus has a very nice scent.

| Once a week here also. We use BioGroom or Nootie. Just ordered Wen for myself and going to try that on Macy next time.

| Sophie is bathed once a week in the Summer, Spring and Fall. Once every 10 days or so in the winter. Sophie stays cleaner in the winter. I wash her face daily. We use Yorkie Splash & Shine (and Yorkie Sheen for daily brushing)
