Woohoo! Received my Yorkie Splash and Shine I received my shampoo, conditioner and detangling spray yesterday and cannot wait till Christmas Eve to give Wallee his bath in it so he smells fresh and clean to meet the family Christmas day. I have one question though. I am having a groomer come here on the 27th to trim him a little (basically it is toenails, a good comb through and trimming his face and privates) and I usually bathe him the morning she comes. Since there are only 3 days between, I really don't want to bathe him again however I wonder what I should do as it has snowed here now and since this is his first snowfall, he has been out playing in it pretty often. I fear his underside may not be that fresh and clean when she arrives. Any suggestions?

| Let us know how you like it when you use it I'm not sure about the bathing 3 days later, but most of these shampoos for yorkies are made where they aren't harsh on them. I would think if he gets too dirty during that time, it wouldn't hurt to bathe him again (even if you just do his underside only).

Clean and handsome for Santa I decided to give Wallee his bath today as I am pretty sure tomorrow will be a busy one around here with us hosting Christmas. (That plus the fact that it has been rainy and muddy here so he hasn't had a bath since his neuter last month and I couldn't wait to try his new yorkieshine products). It definitely gave his coat a different texture and he smells terrific. Since his coat is still so fluffy, I am liking the way it isn't so flyaway with this product. Now to try to keep him clean till his first Christmas.

It won't hurt him to have another bath on the 27th. Those products are actually good for his skin and coat. The first couple of times you use it you may notice a different kind of texture to his coat but with regular use he will have a nice fluffy coat. I use one of those spray on waterless shampoos on Gracie's legs, feet, and belly when she comes in dirty. Otherwise I would be having to bathe her daily this time of year!

Who makes the spray on waterless shampoo? I use some pet wipes safe for cats and dogs on his underbelly between baths.

I use the Chris Christensen spray called Show Off. That company makes a lot of show dogs products. That is the only product of her's I use and it is great. Pet Head makes one, Earthbath also makes one. I know some people here use the Chris Christensen shampoos and conditioners. You can go right to the website to get them. I'm sure there must be other brands that people here use.
