| Wow...I didn't know it was something that should be researched! I have so much to learn and would never do anything to harm a little helpless dog. I need to do more research than when I had my child lol. Thank you all! |

| I am sorry but this is not a good reason to breed. Yorkies should never be breed if it is not to better the breed therefore if they do not fit the yorkie standard they should not be breed and you do not have your dog yet so you will not know if he will. It can also be dangerous for the female especially sense you are not a breeder and do not know what signs mean what. If you get a female what if she is under 5 pounds because any female under 5 pounds should never ever be bred. What if your child has to see puppies die or a female dog they are attached to die because of this? If you work and no one is home for many hours a day what if she goes into labor when your not there and need help because many small breed dogs are known to need help. You definitely would need to do genetic testing and health testing. Breeding is not cheap and can cost a whole lot of money and time. It is not as simple as just putting two dogs together there are risks and things that need to be thought about.

| It's always good to do your research...lol you're funny! I'm pretty sure you knew what you had to do with your kids and if not...you read a book/computer/parents/in laws/sibling, etc...someone gave you the info. It's funny how far we seem to have gone over dogs in this day and age, isn't it? I suppose a vet can give you all the info you really need about everything concerning your pet. (You're response was entertaining!). |

| Smaller dogs are a lot different then other dogs and we now have massive amounts of dogs who are unwanted and in shelters.
