| New here :) Helping my mom with her business. Hello everyone! I have been browsing and reading posts and thought I would introduce myself, not sure if there is a "designated" area to do this so please be gentle with my freshness here! My name is Samantha, from Sunny and often rainy Florida! My mom who use to hobby breed has recently taken over my sisters business in MO. I have been trying to help her and am just becoming obsessed with all these little baby dolls. I have been begging hubby to let me get in on all this cuteness and as of now he has declined so I am 24/7 helping my mom from afar (i've built her site etc). Though I think he is getting weaker and weaker as I have my two year old in on the begging LOL .. He use to breed English Bulldogs and loves/loved them so I know the passion is there, just gotta dig it out ( think he thinks we have a big heard of kids as it is haha i say the more the merrier)! Anyways.. this seems like a lovely place with lovely people adoring a lovely breed (lots of love there)! I hope to get to know some of you and if I step out of line or do something wrong go ahead and throw the balls at me I give permission! Trying to read over and understand all the rules but can be honest it is a lot to take in whilst bopping a 5 month old in my lap and singing itsy bitsy spider to my two year old lol.. |

| The General Section is definately the right place to post an introduction thread. Welcome to YT-ab amazing place to share, learn, connect, and have fun. It's really not so much like dodge ball in PE as nuch as it is an entire Yorkie education system, complete with home ec. Nutrician, health, science, reproduction, photoshop, videography, and of course advanced 'sessions' for breeders and handlers (show people in general). Everyone is encompassed here from the pondeting Yorkie possible adopter, first time owner, life long Yorkie person, rescuers, breeders, enthusiests of all ranges.

| Hi and Welcome to YT! Sounds like you have your hands full with 2 little skin kids I think it's great that you are trying to help your mom out. My best suggestion is to read all the helpful libraries and ask questions here. There is a lot that goes into being a good and reputable breeder of these little yorkies. So, it's good that you are trying to educate yourself. Remember, if you do end up breeding to have your dogs tested for all possible medical issues that can run in the yorkie breed. This will ensure you will have healthy babies that aren't going to have preventable issues. And, I definitely suggest reading up on the YTCA website, also so you can be sure to always promote the traits expected in the breed. We have several breeders here on the forum and I know they are a wealth of knowledge so you should ask all your questions. (There is a sub-forum on here for Breeder talk). I totally know what you mean about falling in love with these little ones. It really only takes one look and it's all over, huh? lol Yorkies are such a unique and special breed. They truly are baby dolls

| Welcome to YT. I see you posted 2 yorkies for sale. Are these your Yorkies? I guess I'm asking since you had stated in your first post you wanted a Yorkie but hubby said no. So I am guess I'm not understanding.

| Ok yes I am addicted already. Thanks again ladies for more welcomes. Yorkies are my mothers I am helping her with online aspect of things, as she is not very good at online stuff! I created her site I Dream Of Yorkies - show quality .. rare colors .. elegant .. beautiful .. poise .. and yes hubby still saying no lol. I am just keeping an afar addiction for now (to the Yorkies but the site I can't seem to get away from) Sorry for any confusing. And yes, I got permission to post for her before I did. I did read the rule where it said I could not post a pup for sale unless it was in my possession |
