| Topknots? Harley's hair is getting in his eyes, and I want so bad to put a topknot in, but he won't sit still at all. He mouths me and moves his head a mile a min, I've always wanted to keep his hair long, but since he will be 8 months old on the 30th, is it too late? We are still working on him letting me brush him every day, I don't want to cut his hair but I feel bad that he can't see

| I started out putting Mina's topknot in when she was asleep. She will be 2 in Dec and she just sits infront of the mirror on my bathroom counter. She gets her topknot put in every morning and removed every nite. It has become a routine that she just expects. |

| I have 3 with top knots and my 2 seniors without. I found if you make it fun and a tiny treat afterwards they will learn to sit still. My Bawb , rest his little soul, never never would leave his in, he was a real macho guy!

| Ziva (3) and Abby (1) have just grown their hair in for the "winter". I have a high counter that I use for the dogs and I back them on to it with nowhere else to go. I am using soft hair scrunchies right now and at first my daughter helped by holding Abbys face still. They have a special container of tiny chewy treats that they get when they are done. It has taken a month of every day routine to get reasonable cooperation! |

| Get a top knot pillow. It will help with keeping his head still. I love ours. It is so soft too! For about $10 you can make putting in top knots a little easier! You can find them here. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...beds-more.html

| Thank you for all the replies! I will continue to try every day with treats, and I'll try backing him up to the counter where he has no place to go. The top knot pillows ar adorable but I feel Harley wouldn't use it, he hates his beds and prefers to sleep on me instead lol!
