| Bella's first flight First I want to thank everyone for the advise on carriers. I ended up getting the The Original Sherpa. We live in IN and flew to TX this past Monday. We did so good. It was my first flight also. LOL She was very quiet the whole time. We loved the weather in Houston last week. It was 77 to 82 all week. My dream Thanksgiving, eating Thanksgiving dinner then heading to the pool. I loved it. We left Friday evening around 8 pm, she didn't do so well on the way home. I tried to get her to potty before we got into the terminal and she wouldn't. So I know that was the problem. 2 hour flight. Note to self, potty pads in carrier. I was a bad momma since that was the only thing I forgot to put in it. When we landed, retrieved luggage we hit a grassy area she went. We might be going back early next spring or so. I am so glad she is adaptable. |

| I'm glad the flight went well... My two know the command "go potty" and know it's time to go when I say that. Next time just give her plenty of time to relieve herself before your flight and you should be fine. Also, potty pads aren't a horrible idea. You can always take her to the bathroom on the plane and set the potty pad down for her to go

| On really long flights Cali uses her potty pad in the airplane bathroom. Not much room, but it always works Glad you had such a good trip. Some people restrict their pup's fluids before a flight - kind of like holding fluids before a child goes to bed at night

| I tried to limit the fluids. She pottied before we left my daughters, about hour and half before we took flight and I was glad we were on a 2 hour flight and not longer. I felt so bad about it tho. |
