| Poor little guy. So sad his real family can't take care of him anymore. I hope someone allows them into their family. |

| Poor boy... I hope he finds a forever home soon. It's so sad seeing the older ones ditched by their families I'm fostering a 10 year old toothless male and his owner wants to travel and not be bothered with him any more... Such a sad situation.

Here is Rocky, the little guy I'm fostering. He will be going to his forever home on Friday. I used to think I'd never want an older dog, but after fostering... I've found they have the sweetest temperaments. They are calm and loving and just want your approval. I hope that little guy finds a new home for Christmas!

| I think they just don't want the responsibility anymore... I don't know if they don't care, but it's a pretty selfish thing to do... Dropping them off at a shelter after they have dedicated most of their lives to you.

YT Addict | That's fine but there are more humane ways to re-home a pet!!!

| Look at the numbers of pets killed each year at these shelters. It will make you sick. I think some people think they are "just animals". I believe some are pretty hard hearted when it comes to this area. What is worse is when they "dump" them off somewhere to survive on their own. We have a new addition to our family thanks to someone dumping her off. She was past starving. It was the most pitiful thing you have ever seen. But she is good now. We have her and she will never go hungry again! I think our society don't care or have become "heartless". Either way, it is a sad situation.
