| All of my boys have top knots all the time. I just use colors that are deep in color as in red, purple, black, white, navy blue etc. etc. No pastel colors and I prefer not to use bows or barrettes.

| Just tell him he's like a samurai warrior! Then show him all the bows/clips made just for boy dogs!

| Brody says he doesn't think so. He says the general consensus is that he personally is absolutely adorable in bands, scrunchies, clips, and bows. Mia agrees. However, Brody reserves the right to remove any chewy (human translation = 'scrunchie') from any top knot at any time and anywhere...and clench it between his teeth laughing at Mommy trying desperately to remove it before it gets swallowed or becomes sopping wet and/or fuzzy.

| Question, as a person who used to wear pony tails a lot and then get a sore head, do you think the dogs get sore heads from the pony tails too? |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Don't put the topknot band in too tight or close to head and this will prevent soreness. Joey's breeder said that you should be able to slip a medal comb between the band and the scalp. Some people use a rat tail comb to loosen the band. I know what you mean though, I loved a high pony tail when I was young, and I loved it super tight. It did hurt when I took out the band.

| Funny you should say that... Ryan would KILL me if he came home and "his puppy" had a topknot BUT he actually has long hair himself that he wears in a ponytail

| If "his puppy" goes to work with him or for a ride he can not wear clothes unless it is cold then he can only wear manly stuff like a plain black or camo hoodie too lol
