| Hair cut At what age should I get Daisy's hair cut, she is 6 months old now and even though I bathe her weekly and brush her daily she always looks scruffy and she's got big dumbo ears that don't stand up they may need the hair trimming off themshe's a cutie though x |

| You can do it whenever you want. Some people love the puppy coat and want to keep it. I got my boy when he was 4 mos. and I gave him a 1 inch puppy cut a couple weeks later. He was so shaggy, I just wanted to see what he looked like under all that hair! I groom him myself. Yes, getting the heavy hair off the ears will help them stand up. Even if you don't trim her yet, shave the top third of her ears. I use a mustache clipper for that. If that doesn't work, you can tape them until they stand. You should be able to find a few threads on that topic here. Last edited by bobohyde; 11-10-2012 at 02:16 PM. |
