Zachary's Mom Donating Member | Zachary's New Collar Well, the 3 cute little collars I bought Zachary are now too small and have hardly been used. I was going to buy him a new one but got thinking.....I have TONS of ribbon, lots of cute prints and solids, why not MAKE him one. I have so many craft sewing stuff you would not believe it. So, I went through my ribbon and found this cute little Yorkie print and a solid matching blue. Got out the Heat n Bond Ultra Hold, my collar hardware and started working. Well, I am all set to start the sewing part. The ribbon is bonded (the bond will hold well if not washed excessively and I would never wash ribbon) and I will start sewing on the hardware shortly. I would bond AND sew if I were making a collar for a large dog. I also have this same ribbon in pink! I was thinking about selling these. Do you think it would be worth my efforts? I don't want to make a bunch up and find nobody would buy them. They won't be too expensive. Photo of bonded ribbon attached (it is 3/8"). Opinions please!! Louise and Zachary |

| Very nice. It would be really cute in pink. What kind of hook up are you using for the collar? |

Paris: Always in my ♥ Donating YT Member | Collars are not really recommended for Yorkies. If they are for decoration how about making them snap off if caught on something? Just saying as a mom of a dog who had collapsing trachea. |

The only time my guys wear collars is when they go to the vet or out on the porch to sit (even though it is enclosed, you never can tell). Zachary wears a harness when going for a ride that the car seat snap thingie is attached to. The collar he wears with it is just to hold his tags. Louise

BTW, I have two cute size small girly pink beds on Etsy, one is a "Diva" bed and one is a "Princess" bed. I am DoggoneCuteBedsNBows. I made 5 so far for my guys (one more to make) and they wash and fluff beautifully. Louise

| Gracie has a pink cat collar but I haven't been impressed with the choices available. |
