| A glob of conditioner on the snarl, a fine tooth comb or rotating metal pin comb, and LOTS of patience! If all else fails, cut them out. =(

| Work the conditioner/detangler into the snarl really well and start combing at the most outward part of the snarl. Use tiny little strokes to work the snarl out getting closer and closer to the skin as you go.

| A good detangler and a metal comb work well. If you use a good conditioner when you give him a bath and keep a spray detangler around for between baths you can keep him tangle free if you comb him daily. You can also try using pure corm starch on a dry mat. Work it into the mat and start working on it with a metal grooming comb. I hope your dog doesn't mind being groomed. |
