| Festival's and Flea markets Yep you all probably guessed it. Was out and about today flea marketing. A lady was selling puppy yorkies. One male, one female. 10 weeks old. I asked her if they lived inside with her family, when does she let them go? 12 weeks? Nope their ready now. She also told me that they are very well cared for. I asked her how many litters a year? One. But I have 11 females that I breed. How much are they? $1200. I don't know. I felt the 11 females that she breeds says puppy mill. I could be so wrong, but letting them go at 10 weeks with 11 breeding females told me alot. I did ask for a business card and she did give me one. |

| Was wondering which festival you went to? I will be going to the covered bridge festival tomorrow, i know there are a few dog booths there, one i know has tiny dogs. I never buy from them, they have tons of dog clothes that she sells. Doesn't sound like anyone i want to do business with.

| What decent breeder just sells cash on hand at flea markets and festivals? C'mon even half these funky BYB out there have mock adoption applications and correspond with people so they at least have a name and phone number. Sight unseen of breeders home is a HUGE red flag!

| All the above. That's what I thought. I about fell over when she said she had 11 females at home that she breeds. Big ole RED FLAG!!!! And I don't know much. I got Bella from an individual that just wanted to rehome her. Now that I look back on it, I think she was just needing money for something was questionable or divorce. She was divorced shortly after I got Bella. |

| 11 females spells puppy mill. I wonder how many males? No one can keep that many dogs in a home environment. They are in cages. It is much easier to cage the small dogs. They don't even get a kennel. These people turn my stomach. It's just another assembly line to them. Mass production. |

It was entertaining on my part to question her in front of the "potential" customers. LOL | |

| Many show breeders have 11 females at carious life stages, however I doubt they are vreeding them all at once, in fact at that number many would be co-owned and living in placement.

| Yep. Mobile, AL fleamarket too. I got the lady's card to look her up. Sickly looking female $1200 barely moving. She tried to shove it in my hands but I had my Shanti at home and didnt want her sick because I held a watery eyed little pup that was no where near 12 weeks. Nope. Not buying that line.
