Senior Yorkie Talker | OMGoodness. Harley gave me a scare this morning! So I'm sitting on the sofa reading this morning and Harley comes over begging to get up there with me. Several minutes later he is standing beside me (on the sofa) and makes a lunge for the chair across from me. Of course he misses and lands on the floor beside the chair. I quickly scoop him up and hold him close babying him while he "cries" thinking he's broken something. Then he snuggles up in my lap and just lays there. Finally I got up the nerve to put him down and see if he's injured and he takes off playing. DH said "I guess he'll think twice before he jumps off the sofa next time". I bet his mama will think pay better attention when he stands on the sofa next time!

| So glad he is okay. Ruby did this to us once and knocked herself out. I thought she was dead. I picked her up (she was limp) and started screaming. Then she started to kind of wake up, once I saw she was alive we went straight to the ER vet. At the ER vet she really started coming around and was given fluids. I took her home and watched her all night then went to her regular vet first thing in the morning. Vet said she really just knocked the wind out of her. Now the chair and sofa are touching each other and all she has to do is walk from one arm to the other. |

| I've always said Yorkies are such risk takers and don't think gravity applies to them. I have been where you are more than once, believe me. You cannot always count on their good judgment!!! Little messes think they are equipped with fairy dust or something - they will try anything. I am so glad he's okay!

Zachary's Mom Donating Member | Thank goodness he is OK. I have sturdy pet steps in the living room and two ramps in the bedroom one on each side of the bed. Despite the assistive items, Zachary takes a flying leap off everything. Scares the heck out of me every time. Boy, these guys really can scare you out of ten years growth can't they. Glad he is fine. Louise and Zachary |

| Wish I had a dollar for every time Buster and Maggie have given me a scare. We have stairs for them all over the house but if they get the chance to jump, they will. If you want a really big scare drop a grape on the floor when the pups are in the same room.
