| I enjoyed reading the article. Thanks for posting. I believe I have a "gossiper" in my home.

My son has a Husky and I think they should be much higher on the list. We've heard Luke outside talking and wondered WHO was out there.

| Thanks for the great article! I have a "bluffer"- Abby ,who is just coming in to her own and letting the other two know she is important. Ziva is an occassional "gossip"- she will come over to me, look up and start to mubble and coo like an infant! I have taught both to howl with the emergency/police sirens- it is sooo cute! (probably a bad habit, but ...) |

| I saw that over on Dogster. What's funny is that our maltese is way more vocal than our yorkies.

| Very interesting article. I can't decide if Max is bluffer or a brave heart. He may not be sure either. Max also barks when he is excited and can't contain himself. I don't see a category to describe Teddy, who thinks it is great sport to bark at things when we are in the car. Otherwise, he is pretty quiet.

| I have a Bluffer (Khloe) and a Gossip (Couver). Miss Khloe likes to bark at bigger dogs, but only when they are on the other side of a fence and she knows she's safe. Couver is the most talkative dog I've ever met. He will use his voice to get my attention and to tell me what he wants.

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Ha! Maybe it's an Alaska thing, because Eddie is a sneezer too. When he gets excited, he sneezes. Sometimes, when I ask him to "speak," he sneezes.

| Great article. I should have Lilo read this. I'm dying to teach her the bark command but she's not much of a barker |
