| Getting spay next week My baby has an appointment to get spayed next Tuesday and I am a nervous wreck. Part of me knows that I need to do it but I am so scared that something may happen. Have any of you had a bad experience? |

| Oh, dear, we all go through this. It's so difficult to hand over our darling little babies to that seemingly cold harsh vet clinic. It is an emotional thing to go though but it is for the best. I almost didn't let go when the vet tech came to take my Gracie out of my hands. I had to look away as she wiggled to get away from her and looked at me with those innocent eyes. However 9 hours later I got my little girl back and she did fine. She was a little groggy for the first day and a half but after that it wasn't long before she was back to her old self. Don't fret. If you have a vet that you trust then she is in good hands. They do this all the time and know what they are doing. |

| I think all of us get scared about dropping our babies of to get fixed but most or the time they do great. One very important thing to do is to make sure it goes well is to get blood work done. My Uncle's dog went into get spayed and they did the blood work and found out something was wrong with her liver and had they not found that out and just did the spay something bad could have happened. Vets do spays very often so they know what there doing.
