| No sorry they are not same as goldens and partis they are considered a color fault and cant be shown. I think they are pretty though and I would love to have one

| Gold and Partis are not accepted in the AKC or Canadian Kennel Club rings either and neither is a Chocolate. These are not colours acceptable for the breed standard. |

| I don't see anything wrong with owning a healthy Chocolate dog not used for breeding. But I wouldn't pay what some ppl try to charge for a "rare" Chocolate dog. |

| my oscar is a chocolate , he is very healthy and i got him from a great breeder. i paid the same price for him as she gets for the traditional colors. i have seen breeders websites where they charge outrageous prices for colors other than the traditional.. |
