| Is there a Yorkie rescue in South Carolina? I wasn't sure where to post this question. I'm hoping it gets seen here. We need to find a rescue for a five yr old Yorkie female. She supposely just had a litter of pups that died. The owner at that point didn't want her anymore. My mother in law took her in to keep her from having to go to the pound. But she isn't financially able to keep her. |

| What a sad story... Thank goodness your mother was able to take her in. I hope you find a rescue to take her in soon.

| Hi Mellie.... I have just lost my 5 year old female Yorkie. I am looking for another one. My husband and I have been devestated without our little girl... do you have any pictures and specifics or can you call me with details? I live in Florida, but I used to live in Charleston and know the Lexington area and we could drive to pick her up and would for sure give her a wonderful and loving home... 772-621-9951 thanks Reverend Donna Trexler Geertz

| You could post pictures and her info here on YT, in the rescue section. We adopted our little Lolita here. There are lots of good people here who might want to take her in. Prayers you find her a good forever home.

| Sorry about the delay response. All messages were going to my spam folder. We still need to get her to rescue so someone can help her. I did get I touch with one in nc but haven't heard back. Seems kinda odd that they wanted to know how big she was and a pic. I guess she wasn't pretty enough for them. |

I had that happen many years ago (2000) with a Major Yorkie Rescue Group. I pray you can find a Rescue Group for her. I think someone mentioned Yorkie Haven Rescue, have you tried them.

| I would definitely check out Yorkie Haven Rescue. I am a foster parent through them and they should be able to help out.
