| Potty trainning Hello everyone Do you guys have suggestion for potty training my lil one? I live with lots of large dogs as our neighbors and recently when i took my lil one out for potty training the next door big pitbull tried to climb the fence and get to us. Since then i have been trying to make lil one do his business in my bathroom shower.. he has no problem doing his pe pe there but for no. 2 he does a lots of fussing and i have read somewhere that after 5 min i have to give him a break and watch him like a hawk till he try to do his business again, and i do that but still he winds up trying to do in the kitchen carpet but when i pick him up and take him to the shower.. he just sits there and keeps on looking up at me but doesn't do it... I have been doing the same routine for the past three days and he is not doing his business in the shower but in the carpet.. so i need serious help that way he doesn't feel its ok to do his thing in the kitchen all the time. i am new with yorkie breed. thank you |

| i think you would be better off to train him to use potty pads . The shower is an odd place for a dog to learn to potty . It may make him a little nervous. if you can get an ex-pen line it with potty pads on one side and his food , water and bed & toys on the other and keep him in there when you cannot watch him. put a few potty pads around your house and keep taking him to the pads and say go potty . When he does tell him good and give a treat.. it is really a long process but he will get it |
