| Joined today... Hello, I just joined today but have been researching your blogs over the past week. Awesome site with great information! I have an 8 yr old Yorkie, Bubbles. I also have an year old cat, Fresca. They have always gotten along, play and sleep together. I would like to get another dog. I would love to get a Parti Yorkie or a Biewer. Any tips on breeders in Southern CA? Also, any advice on bringing in a new puppy to the family? Thanks

| Welcome. Did you look at the "Regional" section on this site? Sometimes there are local referrals there. Best wishes, Tracey |

| Welcome to YT Good luck in your puppy search If you use the Search function at the top in the toolbar, you should be able to find lots of threads on introducing a new puppy to the family.

| Welcome to YorkieTalk! Good luck in your search. My only advice would be to introduce the dogs on neutral territory and then walk them together. This will help with some issues that you see when introducing a new pup to the pack. With my two, I always made sure to feed/treat/pet/acknowledge my male first (he was my first yorkie and then came our female). This has seemed to work and kept him happy. He does not feel like he's being cheated out of mommy time and Miss Khloe accepts it because it's the way it's always been

I almost went to go meet Dee & her Biewers, but I didn't think I can walk away w/out adding to my fur family, so decided against it...maybe someday when we move to a house w/a big yard.
