| Yorkie(?) Attacks Copperhead Snake! I found this in the KOMO news site today and thought it was amazing! Since many of you live in areas where copperheads are prevalent, you might also wish to view this report. I noticed that the Yorkie in the report was completely white and had not seen one with that coloring. Her name is Lili and she is a brave little girl (although she is on the larger side). In case you wish not to view the news clip, she bit the snake after it bit her owner and she was also bitten on the face. Both owner and Lili had to be treated by medical professionals for the bites, but they both survived, as you can see in the video. | Isn't that just like a terrier?! She looks like she is at least part Westie to me. Either way I can just imagine my girl going after a snake if she saw one. Our back yard borders on a tree line that is the edge of a large wooded area. We have some plants that go along the edge of the tree line that I always keep her away from because I don't know what could be lurking in there. Don't want to find out either! Copper Heads are known to be in this area though not very common. I'm not taking any chances. |

| Awww Good story! Reminds me of when we lived in NC, me and my sister were playing in the yard and our first Akita(Dakota) was acting strange and we noticed a rattlesnake a few feet away from us but Dakota would not move from between us and the snake, he knew to stay between us, we lived on base so the MPs cut the head off and we dragged the snake around on a hanger and showed our friends, lol |

| first, reporters need to do more research! That's a pure Westie... lol. Second wow!! My moms cockapoo was like this. Total farmdog, used to fling snakes around, and corner ground hogs, etc.
