| Is your dog a little packrat thief????? I'm learning...... I heard my alarm clock going off this afternoon ---and guess where I finally found it......in my puppy's bed!!! (He has a big bed that he just loves!!) When I checked it out today - (plus looked under the pillow) - I found: All his usual stuffed toys The "alarm clock" Two pairs of eye glasses Two Bic lighters Ballpoint pen Pencil Toilet paper holder Comb Dog cookie (saving for a rainy day - I guess) Needless to say -- I have been looking for some of these things for several days. Now I know where to look. I think he gets most of this stuff off the endtables. He is sneaky and he is fast! This must be a puppy thing. When my Bichon was a pup, he hid a peanut butter sandwich and a piece of pizza under the pillow on my bed. (Must have starved in his last life.) My brother's lab puppy put his car keys in a kleenex box, and they didn't find them for days. And - he ate my brother's tax return on April 15th (the day it has to be mailed in.) My brother said he'd just tell the IRS, "The dog ate my homework." Does your dog take your things and hid them???? Carol Jean |

| haha.. that is SO funny! the only thing she takes and hides is the little girl I babysit's binkie! She loves it. I even went out and bought 2 for her so she could give the other back.. she loves hers the most that I bought, but she will NOT give the other back. Everytime she sees Haylie coming she takes the purple binkie and hides it in her crate (puts it under her blankies or pillow) and never brings it out til she is gone. lol

| What I found most amazing in my pup's bed was the alarm clock. I put in on the floor to see how in the world he managed to get it anywhere. Well - he just takes hold of one of its legs and drags it wherever he wants it to go. Carol Jean |

| Dublin is big-time!! We have a room on the main floor just for the dogs (food, crates, doggie door to the dog run, etc.) and while they each have a crate, they are rarely in them. For some reason Dublin likes to take the confiscated booty and hide it in his sister's crate. We now know if we can't find something to check in Fiona's crate. His favorite things are toys, glasses, and assorted sticks brought in from the yard. Sometimes the sticks are so big I have to wonder how he gets them in through the dog door... Another thing... We also have a big basket of toys that we keep in the office on the main floor, and Dublin was digging in it this week and drug out a big (I'm talking 2 ft long!!) rawhide bone and somehow got it down the hall and into Fiona's cage. Then this morning as I was making the bed, I stubbed my toe, and looked down to see it sticking out from under the bed. How he got that thing that is half his body weight and twice his size up two flights of stairs is beyond me. That fool thing had been at the bottom of that basket for a couple of years now and it was too big for the big dogs to want anything to do with it. Now it's all over the house! These little guys sure can be tenacious!

| I cleaned under my bed today and I found all kinds of things. Childrens Motrin luckily he did not chew the bottle enough to get it open. He's all the time draging clothes under there, pens, pencils, chapstick, socks, his toys, I've even found my underwear under there I know it's gross. He pulls it through the holes of my hamper. I guess I'm just going to have to start tossing it downstairs. He did get ahold of my glasses one day. I found them laying on the steps. He put a tiny scratch by the nose piece thank god it's not in my line of vision. They leave lots of toys on the steps as well. Some hurt just as bad as hot wheels & legos when you step on them.

| Yep- Jojo will take anything "good" he finds. He takes undies from my laundry pile when i am cleaning, toilet paper from the bathroom, and brings it right underneath my bed...and as soon as I catch him we catch eachothers eyes, he freezes with his little but in the air, quickly grabs the evidence and runs like speedy gonzalez to get away, it is soooooo cute!

| The remote! The other day I could not find the remote...I looked everywhere for about 20 minutes or so. Then I found it....my little clepto has taken it off the coffee table and pushed it unterneath it (it a trunk)....all the way. I think she loved watching me look for it...soer of like hid and seek. We must look funny when we run around scratching our heads like that.

| We've found quite a bit of things in Gus's cage. CD's, playing cards, tampons, keys, Cherish's toys, socks, my sandles which were going crazy looking for for about a week. I do regularly checks at least 2 times a week and always find something that don't belong there.

| It's beginning to become very evident that when our dogs go to prison for "stealing," they are going to have a lot of company ---other Yorkies!!! Carol Jean |
