Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | She is truly my best friend :) It's been a while since I have posted but I thought I would share my story.. Wed. Night I went to the hospital with severe pain in my left side. They did a CAT scan and my results showed that I have a kidney stone. So the doc gave me pain meds and said that I should pass it with no problem. I came home and went right to bed.. From that moment my izzy was in bed with me the WHOLE TIME.. She could see I was in pain. She never left my side.. That next morning I was in such pain that I was vomiting ( I know , I'm sorry this is gross) and my Izzy stayed with me while my husband was trying to help..he rushed me back to the hospital and the doc did surgery and placed a stent in.. I just got home last night and I have had my sweet little Izzy by my side again.. When I go to the bathroom she come with me, when I shower she has stayed with me. When I'm laying in bed she is laying at my flank..y husband had to bring her food to our bed because she won't leave my side.. I never knew how much she really loved me

| They know. I don't know how, but they just do. I've been in real trouble this past week. The never ending wildfires here have sent my already bad asthma into overdrive. Several times, I've been in real trouble. Once I ended up in the ER. Gabby knows. She's been within 2 feet of me at all times. When I went to the hospital, she laid by the front door and wouldn't move until I got back. I'm glad you have a little friend who is there for you too. It does make things a little easier. I hope you're feeling better! Kidney stones can be so painful from what I'm told.

| It sounds as though you do really have a very loyal friend. I have had some health issues also and my little Gracie is always right by my side as well. I have been really amazed as she has been like this since she was a puppy. I thought a young dog would want to continue to play and have fun but instead she is snuggled right next to me when I am not feeling my best. I really feel the Yorkie is the most loyal of dogs. |

| They really are there for us no matter what. You really realize it when they are right there by your side when no one else would get anywhere near you. |

| I'm so sorry you're going through this and I'm happy that you're on the mend! Our dogs do know when we aren't feeling good. I had breast cancer 5 years ago and all through my treatment my dog Dabny didn't leave my side. Everyone would be asleep and I would be up all night and he would be right there with me. He knew I needed him. He gave me so much love and comfort. Hope you feel better soon!

| I hope they got the stone & you still aren't waiting to pass it! I sat with my poor uncle when he was ill with one and I would hate to face that situation. I'm hoping yours is all over except for the healing, swelling going down. That is such a sweet story about Izzy and her loyalty to her sick mommie. It is a shame that everybody going through terrible times of one kind or another doesn't have a sweet Yorkie's warm little body to cuddle with during the episode. Those little eyes can look so knowing - I swear they smell changes in the body that signal there is trouble and know exactly what to do - guard & nurture & comfort their human! I hope you are better very soon and know that until you are, your best friend will be right there for you through thick and thin.
