| Has she been to the vet and specifically been checked for worms and general health? Are her stools normal are very loose? What is her age or approximate age, if you don't know exactly?

| Also, what food are you feeding her? If she needs to put on weight, and her health has been checked, I would have your vet recommend a food.

| Are her stools normal and what is her age? How active is she? What's her day like?

Ok, this is going to sound a bit harsh - but I truly wouldn't feed her Winalot, it's made up of rubbishy stuff. I wonder if you're able to get hold of a brand called Lily's Kitchen? It's organic etc etc - and is so natural and made of such good stuff that even humans could eat it (I haven't... !!). That's if you want to feed her wet food. There are plenty of excellent dry foods available here too, the list is endless. Royal Canin Yorkshire Terrier under 10 months food is excellent, as is Burns and several others. I'd be careful feeding her too many treats - they get full up so easily with their little tummies...and then don't devour their proper food Lily's Kitchen also make some really good treats i.e. cheese and apple, which are again completely natural and good for them (no, I don't work for them!!! ). Good luck! Sally + Harry x

Senior Yorkie Talker | Congrats! Congrats on your baby Bella! I've had our puppy Jaxson for over a month now & he's over 3months old. When we got him he was small under 2lbs but he's now 3lbs & healthy as can be! The vet wanted us to put some weight on him but that was all he said just to free feed like many ladies on here recommended to me when I first got him. So I say just make sure she is eating & drinking enough. I'm not sure with her being 1yrs old cause mine is still little but i'm sure you'll get plenty of great advice from ladies on this site. |

| I have had a couple of yorkies over the years that are just naturally thin especially as puppies and youngsters. My first Yorkie, Ben, never really filled out until he was about 4 years old. This could also be normal for your Yorkie. Just be sure she eats. Tinned food is not adequate nutrition. I would suggest you get a good kibble, you can soak a bit in boiling water, mix in a little tinned and once it is cooled, put it down for her. She could be teething so gums and mouth is a little sore. Hard kibble could be a little tough for her to eat right now. |

Great! A post from someone that lives "in the area", so she knows the food available to you! Hopefully, it is where you can access it....great advice! And you may want to free feed your dry kibble....she can snack on and off during the day, whenever the mood strikes her,....I have found I gain weight easily when I free feed all day long!!!!!!!!!!

YT 2000 Club Donating Member | Also she is one year old, and still growing into her body. Razzle didnt get to his 6.5 lbs until 3yrs old! He was a skinny boy, and still has a high metabolism. Harry's Mum knows what is available in the UK. I too would trust a good quality kibble, well actually until about now, I change my pups to home fed.
