| 7 year old is a grumpy old man! Oh my gosh! I know he's spoiled, but he grew up with his brother, I got them at the same time, from the same liter. So they are attached very close to each other. But man, any other kid or animal that comes near me when he's on my lap he ATTACKS! Lunges, growls, barks. I am not sure if he'd bite or not, but many times I've had to take him off my lap and put him away from me to let him know his behavior is not ok. Also I've gone so far as to put him in another room with the door shut, mainly for safety's sake because I don't to find out that he would bite by him biting my 3 year old nephew. Also I'll put him in another room for his own sake, he's clearly upset and stressed when he's on my lap and there is someone else vying for my attention, so I put him away so he is not so stressed. I would love to get another fur baby, a girl maybe. But I don't think I can. This week we are dog sitting a friends Boston Terrier. She's sweet as anything but she wants a lot of my attention too. Fletcher was tolerating her, Dexter ignores her (he does not like other dogs near him) but yesterday Fletcher finally had it and started that snapping, lunging, growling thing towards her when he was on my lap. He was MAD. He only does this when hes on my lap. He's fine with kids and other dogs when I'm not around or I'm not holding him. So sadly I am not sure I could break him of this... but it would mean no more babies for us while he is around. Since he's the LOVE of my life he's with me forever, god willing.

| My Luna is kind of like that too, she barely tolerates us loving on Izzy and has snapped at her a couple of times defending "her" Daddy's arms. We got Izzy when Luna was 5 months old, and Izzy was 7 months old, so they've pretty much grown up together as well. Izzy just turned 6 and Luna will be 6 at the end of the month. We've also decided no more babies here too, but we're okay with that Two is my limit I think, anyway
