YT 500 Club Member | dress reaction I put a dress on my yorkie several times, and after a while all she wants to do is lay around and sleep. Take it off, and she's jumping all over the place. Anyone have this problem? Its so sad, because I love dressing her up!

Paris: Always in my ♥ Donating YT Member | LOL when I tried putting clothes on Paris I got the stink eye like "Really?". He would just stand there until I took them off. |

| once you get her dressed, do something that she likes like take a walk, toss a toy, give her a few treats and make her do a trick (if she does that) I did that with Lola and she was happy to get her toy or go for a walk so she did not seem to notice her dress. make sure it is not to tight or to long.

How long is "a while"? What does she do before laying down to sleep? Do you entice her with treats, toys, activities wearing the dress? Do you lavish her with praise and compliments about how gorgeous she is in her dress? Or take her out and show her off in it so others can help enhance her beauty experience with additional praise and adoration? If she stays 'sleepy' calm wearing the dress while you carry her when she's out, so what? If she likes to ride/go out, have you tried associating the 'wearing of the dress' with the 'going for a ride' reward? Only dress her WHEN you give her that reward until she starts to look forward to it, then leave her in the dress after you return. Have you tried dressing her in something smaller...say, a t-shirt or lightweight sundress? Or trying dressing her for bed in a 'gown' or jammies, and letting her get used to the feel of wearing clothes? Or dressing her for warmth when it is chilly? Brody never wore clothes at his previous home. Mia wore them but her former mommy said she did not like to wear them. Both Brody and Mia LOVE clothes and get very excited to see the clothes come out. This is Florida, so in the summer they do not always wear garments, and when they are home alone, unless it's really chilly, I usually do not dress them...afraid they'll hang a claw or get caught on something. You may not be out of options yet. If you really want her to dress up, you may just need to find the way she'll accept it.

| Callie sometimes has the opposite effect unless its really hot. She gets cold pretty easy so she loves her clothes and will put her own head in and legs in. Have you tried playing with her after you dress her to get her to kind of forget she has a dress on?

YT 500 Club Member | Yes, I praise her, give her treats, and play with her, but still no reaction. My boy yorkie who is five, loves clothes. And he loves being brushed. Maybe zooey, my new one is still to young and has to get use to it. But I can't stop buying clothes for her. She's so cute with a dress on. She's just turning five months, so I hope it gets better because I'm a fashionista too! Lol

| Maybe she doesn't want to get her dress dirty. I don't usually dress Gracie up during the summer unless we are going some where. She is much more comfortable around the house with warm clothing on during the winter. She is a heat seeker so she doesn't mind the added warmth. |

| Gabby LOVES wearing dresses, getting her hair done, nails painted, etc. Issy eats them. She'll turn in circles over and over again until she has a good grip on it and just start pulling until she's got it off. Then it's time to "kill it". She's not very girly at all. I'm hoping as she grows up she'll learn to love them as much as Gabby does.

| Kyra gives me the stinky eye too lol. She will pout for a bit and go sit in the corner and glare at me or go to the bedroom and face the corner of the bedspread lol. If I laugh at her I really get that look lol. She does ok after a while in them but she does seem much happier nakey.
