YT 2000 Club Donating Member | Lovely Day Lakeside Promenade I'm posting this here, as there are a few folks who reside in Toronto area. Hubby and I recently went to the above Park on Sunday for some walking with the pups, and hopefully swimming. It is off Lakeshore Blvd, about 1 km past Marie Curtis Park, west of Brown's Line and Lakeshore. Lovely pretty big park with bicycle = paved trails. At the end of the entrance road just before the marina, there is a small "sandy" beach where we were able to take the dogs in!. Just be alert to the kiyakers, canoeists et al. Pretty shallow water - but it is Lake Ontario so it is coolish. Often times we have posts about how bad strange dog behave to our Yorkies or ourselves; I have a very pleasant story to relate. We met two lovely young woman (early 20's perhaps), with two chocolate labs; one was a puppy, one was an adult dog 3yrs old prox. These dogs were very well behaved, in fact I can't believe how calm and pretty obedient the puppy was at just 5mths old. The owners were attentive and alert to their dogs, both were on leash, but relatively free to roam a bit with long leads. All the dogs got along fine; although with the size differences I wouldn't allow any play between our boys and their girls. But good doggy greetings, and we spent a very pleasant hour in their company. Of course my Razzle was the worst behaved of the lot!. Scamp.... He certainly knows how to try my patience... How refreshing it was to met well behaved dogs, and attentive owners!!
