| new to YT...help needed! Although I have been a member of YT for a year I am not sure how it works. But I have a concern and need some help, info, advise! Our yorkie is amazing she is energetic playful loving (everything you want in a dog) but Saturday we adopted an Aussie that is about a year old for my kids. My yorkie has not been herself! She has had diarreha and been throwing up pretty much since we brought the new dog home! I have madde her a vet appointment for today but thought I would see what you guys thought. |

| Has the Aussie been to the vet yet? Is it possible she passed something on to your yorkie? I know when I brought home a second furbaby. I pretty much kept them apart until the newest addition was able to get to the vet first. |

| Yeah she was fine before we brought in the new dog. The Aussie dosent chase her though. I am thinking it could be nerves but I am worried about dehydration! |

| The aussie has been to the vet and is showing none of the same symptoms. I am so confused and upset |

| Good point. My cat got extremely sick when I bought home a much younger cat. He wouldn't leave Zoey alone. Fortunately my mom took him but when he was with me, my cat Zoey was so stressed she wouldn't even leave the room to go to her litter box, she even stopped eating. It was really sad, and while I didn't want to give the new cat away, it was the only way to ensure Zoey's health. |

oh the poor little thing. Try to get her to drink more if you can. I think some people use pedyalite. I am glad you are taking her to the vet anyway. Hope she feels better soon | |

| Rosie got sick within days of me bringing Mikki home. It could be stress related. I would keep an eye on her. They dehydrate so quickly. I would take her to the vet if she doesn't improve soon.

| If she is vomiting that much then she certainly needs to see the vet. Does your Yorkie go near the new dog? Is she afraid of it? |
