| Good luck. Just remember you will have to use the scissors also. I usually just shave mine down with a #1 blade in the summer but I hand scissor the face. Be very careful under their arms and by their hip. I cut my Pebbles because that loose skin got in my blade and she needed stitches. I do the under arms and under legs with a scissor too. Pictures!!!

| You guys want pics?? lol I got the job done, but he defiantly doesn't look as good as when he get out of the groomer. He does good for the groomer, but I've never done it myself. He wiggled and squirmed until he realized he had no choice and he decided to sit down and gnaw on a hairbrush handle while I buzzed away. I didn't go to short. It was just a practice session. I didn't want him having bald spots spread around... And I didn't get his ears . He was really jumpy when I tried. I really wanted to get his ears because they are weighed down with fur, but I decided I'll wait on them. He hung in there better than I expected. Next time it wont be such a surprise to him and it'll work out better. |

| I'm sure you did a fine job. I groom Riley myself.... but i haven't used clippers on him, yet. I just scissor him. I have actually been looking to buy a good pair of clippers. |

| I want to see pictures! I groom my two myself and while sometimes it isn't perfect, it's much better than leaving them at the groomers

| Don't laugh! I get a pass because it's my first time ever! lol As you can see I need to work on the hair in his face and ears more. I chopped too much to tie the hair up and not enough so it stays out of his face. I'm going to finish his face and ears tomorrow. I used a no. 1 attachment comb with it adjusted to the longer length on his body. I like when his hair is cut down short but didn't want to go crazy the first time. His hair grows really quick. Learning to do this on my own will save me a lot of money and time which is good. I'll post another one tomorrow after I get the face and ears done. |

| Think you did a great job! He looks cute (and happy)! It'll come easier each time you do it. p.s. also quite partial to the name Charlie! Ours was such a good boy. Take care!
