| Leaving Alone for first time to go to store.. Believe it or not, I haven't left my little Emy alone yet. She sleeps in her crate with her bed and blanket, when she naps and at night. I have to go to store, am running out of food (LOL)...I am afraid to leave her in her crate with her bedding because she's a chewing terror, and no way am I leaving her out in the kitchen alone, she has figured how to climb over baby gate. Should I take everything out, that will probably upset her even more...but I'm afraid she will tear up and eat her bedding if I'm not there. I'll probably only be gone an hour, but I'm feeling guilty already about leaving her. Should I wait till she's asleep and sneak out...maybe she'll stay asleep till I get home. She's 13 weeks old. |

| I forgot to say she's 4.4 lbs as of last week when I took her to vet for her booster shot. She gained 1 lb. from the 2 weeks previously that I had her at the vet for her wellness exam. I am concerned about putting a blanket over the crate, because she's a little smarty, she would try to pull the blanket down into the crate, I've seen her do it at night when I'm with her, before she falls asleep for the night. I hate to leave her in a bare crate, but I might, cause we need FOOD..LOL... |

Senior Yorkie Talker | Oh how worried these little furbabies can get us! I'm a Momma to Jaxson who is 12 weeks old & 3lbs & he stays in his crate with my husbands shoe...yes his shoe he loves that smelly old thing & a couple of his toys. I think if you are worried about the blanket you can take it out just stick something she loves of yours in there that smells like you or something that can soothe her. Jaxson was actually sleeping when we got back! I felt so bad leaving him but my husband just got back from being deployed so we wanted to go to lunch and we decided to take an hour and do it! He was perfectly fine just make sure she eats and goes to the bathroom before you leave. Good luck & have fun!! |
