| Shedding? We are moving apartments, and as I am cleaning I notice hair ALL OVER THE PLACE! I lent rolled my couch and from normal eyesight, you can't see the hair, but on the roller you can. Does anyone else's Yorkie shed? It isn't like a normal dog shedding. I don't remember him doing it this much in the winter. We've had a very hot summer so far here in south Louisiana... trying to decide if that's the factor. We eat Science Diet, take weekly baths, get brushed sometimes more than once a day, and sprayed to smell good.

| Gracie never sheds. Occasionally as I comb or brush I may get a few hairs. It seems unusual to have that kind of shedding especially since you groom regularly. What kind of coat does your dog have? Does he scratch at all? |

| Yorkies are not supposed to shed much but all dogs will shed a little, just as we do. They might shed more if they have been bred with another dog back in their history somewhere, they are sick, or if they are upset (as mentioned above, some will shed a little when they are nervous). I guess we should just call it losing hairs as they do not shed like a shedding dog. No warm weather purge of undercoat because they have no undercoat. But if you just see a few hairs here & there, that is normal. You may find as many of your own as you do your Yorkie's.

| Georgie sheds a little. I notice when I am holding him sometimes. I have thick long hair and I also shed and it's much worse LOL
