| Curious about something Ok I am just wondering what is the difference in a kennel and a puppy mill? Is there such thing as a good kennel? I was just wondering I hear alot about puppy mills but what about a kennel, in my eyes I dont think that kennels are a very good way to raise a puppy either? This is just a question this is not meant to start any arguements. Thank you for all of your help.

| It really depends on the kennel. I know of a kennel that they have 3 breeds. 2 dogs each and live in a metal building with central heat and air. They have their own 5x5 cages and seperate bowls. They have runs and go out daily. They are very well taken care of. Like i said it depends on the kennel..NOW a puppy mill i want to stay in a good mood so im not even going to go there!!! |

I think everyone has to have their own ddefinition of a puppymill because as that thread should show you..there really is no set defintion. You have to decide what is right or wrong in your value system and make a judgment on an individual basis. I have since spoken to Wallace haven and he is one of the most honest and caring people I have ever talked to...you can just tell by what he says and the way he talks. I can read people pretty well and he cares about his dogs and is proud of his kennel. | |
