| I've been typing and deleting my comments in line with the new rules...but maybe you should reconsider having a dog. Why does he sleep outside? If you can't make time for him, why did you get him? Dogs, especially yorkies (so I've heard and see with mine) want to be near you. My Dexter is always touching me in some way! Right now he has his back leg stretched out against mine whilst he plays. |

| please get this dog into a yorkie rescue asap so he can find the proper home.... under not circumstances should yorkies be kept outside. yorkies , like all dogs , are social animals and they want to be with their people. barking is natural, it is what dogs do to communicate.. |

| Hello, I'm sorry you are having such problems with your Yorkie. Sounds to me that you have neither the time or energy to spend re-training your pup. At this point I honestly think the best thing you can do for your pup is to return the pup to the breeder or a rescue in your area. There are some fine people here that could help you locate someone in your area. If you truly want to keep this dog then you have to start over from scratch and start by bringing the pup inside the house. Your pup is NOT safe outside alone for long periods. Yorkies are meant to be part of the family they are not backyard dogs. In my gentlest voice I say PLEASE give this pup up I don't think this is the dog for you. I'm sorry, I really don't. I hope you make the right decision for your pup and yourself. Remember, this pup depends on you to do what is right.

| This has GOT to be a joke! Obviously, there was absolutely NO effort on YOUR part to educate yourself about Yorkies, or you certainly would have NEVER gotten one. I suggest you return this Yorkie, and invest in a pet rock. Last edited by Yorkiemom1; 06-02-2012 at 03:38 AM. |

| Small dogs like yorkies cant bekept outside it is too dangerous too many prey can get to them they can also be stolen, Also they have hair not fur and cant take flucuations in temp. also yorkies are very social with their owners and are clingy. I think you need to rehome dog to a home that doesnt care if hes clingy. Alot of people like that trait in a dog

| Seriously? That's why I got my dog, so I could take care of him and I love when he follows me around. That poor dog needs someone who will be there for him at all times. As for sleeping outside, that has to stop. I don't know where you live but there are hawks that hang around my area and I don't leave Bailey out of my site for a second when we are outside. |

| Wow. Well, I went and looked at all of your posts since you joined here. You have expressed dissatisfaction with this dog, in every way possible. PLEASE get in touch with a Yorkie Rescue and get this baby rehomed to someone that is willing to take the time to train him, someone that will have his best interests at heart, someone that will keep him safe, someone that will LOVE HIM. I second the pet rock suggestion. No poop, no pee, no barking, no clinging, no predators.

| Ive read your past posts and it seems you have alot of complants about this dog and you leave him in the garage or outside. I really think its time to rehome him to someone who has the time for him and will love him unconditionally

I feel very sorry for this sweet baby dog. I think you need to re-think WHY you even have one, IF you can't devote the time. JUST WOW!

| Wow ....just wow.....You really need to look at the reason why you even wanted to bring a pet into your home. I feel so sorry that this dog was so unfortunate to have come into a home where it's barely tolerated. To be isolated in a garage all lone, for who knows how long, because you are unhappy with his *dog* behavior* is sad. This dog is going to be with you for over another decade, and your already resenting the poor thing.....It breaks my heart.
