| Pool warning!!! Milo fell in our pool yesterday. He was barely treading water aparently he cannot swim. I took us a good minute or so to see what happened. My husband rescued him. He didn't swim to the edge or bark he just mearly tried to keep his head above water. It was very traumatic for us. He was OK just a bit wet. He got a bath and some treats then he wanted to go right back out there with the other dogs. I feel like such a bad mama letting him in the back yard unsupervised like that. It sure taught me a lesson though!!!

| guish i am glad he is ok. my brother also had a dog that could not swim. i had heard in the past that all dogs can swim. i have learned that is not the case. keep watch on him. he may have have thought in the end it wasn't such a bad experience and try it again.

| Mojo surprised me by swimming...he also fell in the pool at first, and later on jumped back in...he really liked it. I read somewhere that dogs with short legs can't swimm. Good think you guys got to Milo in time...at the good side now, he know's what in the pool and probably will be careful around it, specially after this experience |
