| Temperature Following on from my thread asking about why yorkie owners dress their dogs, I had a man on the train comment on Ellington's coat. Its just a black waterproof coat. he said that dogs shouldn't wear coats, unless its below zero, as they overheat. I don't remember asking his opinion!! #sigh |

| How funny! Unless it's below zero? Mine get cold with the air conditioning on... Obviously this guy doesn't know what he's talking about!

| A lot of people don't realize yorkies have no under coats and get colder then breeds that do have under coats and sometimes they still don't understand that until they see a little yorkie shaking because they are cold.

| Its actually what I said! I explained that they don't have a second layer/undercoat and therefore got much colder. My answer surprised him! I did want to say 'mind your own business mister!' though! |

Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | I would've looked straight at him and said 'Last time I checked I did not need or ask for your opinion, sir.' People can be so rude out in public! I know it's maybe a little much, but something that I hate is people pointing! I can't tell you how many people we see while walking in the pet store who point and start laughing. Now I know all of them are not making fun of us persay, some just have to smile when they see a Yorkie. I'm one of them. But it's rude to point! It's just a pet peeve of mine. Ok, off my soapbox! LOL
