| 5 months pregnant Hello everyone!!!! Its been a LONG time since i've posted here. I've been so busy with this pregnancy that I just haven't had time. So, I'm 5 months pregnant and have 2 furbaby boys. Kobe and Nash. I'm so nervous about how they will take to the new baby once he comes. I'm not one of those people that will get rid of either of my boys because I'm having a baby. I LOVE them dearly and they won't be going anywhere. Any advice on how to get them ready for the new addition?

♥Trained by my pups♥ Donating YT 500 Club Member | Once the baby is born. Bring a blanket that smell like the baby home first and let them have it. This way they get use to the baby smell. My daughter did this and it seemed to help. And congrats

| First and foremost Congrats!!!! How exciting I have a ton of advice for you to make the transition smooth for all involved. Georgie was 2 1/2 when his skin brother Isaiah came along The first thing my husband did after I had Isaiah was take home one of the receiving blankets that Isaiah was wrapped in. He gave it to Georgie and let Georgie sleep with it to get Isaiah's scent. We weren't worried at all about our Boxer she loves kids and it still holds true as her and Isaiah are buds I will tell you it hasn't always been easy and has required patience on Mommy and Daddy's part. However, rehoming Georgie wasn't even an option in our minds so it had to work period. Once Isaiah started moving a lot Georgie was very apprehensive (which I can totally understand). If you are anything like me, and you sound like you are the important thing is to continue to give your furbabies attention too. I think that's been the biggest reason that Georgie has been ok with it all. My husband and I have both made a concerted effort to let Georgie know he is still our furry boy. When one of us is reading to Isaiah at night the other one is with Coco and Georgie giving lovies as we call it. No one has missed a beat and the best part is Isaiah is learning how to love and care for all living beings I think everyone is settled in and happy. Isaiah is 4 1/2 and now Georgie has another person to give him belly rubs and treats. I am sure everything will work out. Keep us posted!

| Thanks for the quick responses and the great advice. Yes the nursery is up but not quite complete, we are def going to do the baby doll thing and the blanket once the baby comes. I will keep you guys up dated on how things go. Kobe is so attached to me that I worry about him the most but neither of my boys have ever been aggressive towards anyone.
