Got back from vets Joel is now 5 months and weighs 6.5 pounds, and he got his last puppy shots. I know all yorkies are different but is he big for his age?

A little bigger than average but not huge. Eevee is 5 lbs at 6 months and probably will be 6 lbs at adulthood.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | He may not grow much more. Some of mine stopped growing by 6-7 months of age.

Still meeting breede standard! He is what the breed standard says he should be! Even if he breaks thru the 7 lb top limit, he is sturdy and healthy and what Yorkies are!!! Love him dearly, you have a fella you can exist with, without having all the concerns and issues and safety precautions needed when you have a little Yorkie running the house!

Probably about normal? But then what would I know - we got Harry at 3 months - and he weighed 10 lbs then.... Probably best, as I'm one of the clumsiest women in the world.... Sally + Harry x
