Bridget the amazing Yorkie mom! Animal Tracks - A mother's love: Yorkie adopts five kittens Just in time for Mother's Day, this heartwarming story of a mom's love transcending species lines caught our eye today. According to Deseret News, the story starts out rather sad. At the end of April, a 10-year-old Yorkshire terrier named Bridget gave birth to two puppies, but neither survived. An employee at the Humane Society of Utah’s Foster Care Department, where Bridget resides, then placed a litter of five kittens with the dog, and a happy ending began! Soooo cute! I hope she finds a very special home!

aww. I really hope she finds her forever home. I hate the fact that she's going through all this in a shelter.

I agree about going through it at a shelter, but at least this shelter seemed to want to care for her psychological health as well as her physical health. I say cudos to them. She sure is a super cutie.
